Daniel’s experience
Daniel spent many years in Germany, training alongside some of the best dressage riders in the world. During this time, Daniel held the position of work rider to former Olympic gold medallist, Klaus Balkenhol, based at the DOKR German Olympic Training Centre, Warendorf. Here, Daniel learned many of the secrets of the German dressage squad’s training techniques that have taken them to so many International successes.
Daniel also holds the distinction of being the only UK-based rider to have ridden and competed with talented young stallions for the Westfalian State Stud in Warendorf, Germany.
